First 2/3 look very similar in model/design. Halo 3's looks smoother. So you guys are judging based on the shininess, am I correct?

I'd prefer reach's Banshee. It's smaller and seems quicker. Keep in mind that the first two pics are in-game.

I like the way Reach's looks just because of the design change, but I prefer halo 3's out of the original models.

Cewl. Is this stuff for the UI? If it is, I don't know how it'll fit.
Can you make the UI so if you go to a different section, it shows a different thing? Cause maybe if you're in the Gametype options this would be cool. Have a sniper leaning on the front right wheel, and some other stuff. That'd be sick.

Egh. I like how you put those colours on, but isn't it supposed to be a Red Vs Blue battle? Or r u changing it to Elite and Spartanm or marine, whatev. Please make it Red Vs Blue, because nobody does anything for dat on halomaps. The only RvB related thing there is is Epsilon Sp, which is friggin awesome btw.

Also, if hes using OS, he can already do it as scenery. I was more thinking he should use a biped with nulled animations, just so he can get his dynamic shadow so he wouldn't have to redo lightmaps or bake it, etc.

I thought about using the bipeds as BSP, but then I'd have to do all the lightmapping stuff which I can't quite do yet. I've been on the fast track lately in terms of things I have been learning. I can make HUDs, unwrap, (almost) texture, rig weapons and do some nifty tagging. I suppose lightmaps can be easy to make, but I heard they take a very long time to get done, and I fear that my PC may just not have the resources it takes to get them done quickly. I'll get to it soon I suppose.

Do it my way, run it without a sun, will be done quite fast. Then, open paint, create a white bitmap that matches the lightmap sizes, overwrite it. Its like magic.

You can do what I do with lightmaps, run them for 5 minutes on radiosity 1 then click the ~ key and save them, works well for me. and I have an awful computer. I got these lightmaps that way (sorry about the quality). Edited by d4rfnader on Aug 29, 2011 at 02:09 PM
