Well, I have the Generator Facility ingame at least, minus some wiring, pipes, and other small detail. B4 I finish the small detail though I just need to fix some shaders, make some detail maps, make good reflection alphas, and send this off to someone who really knows what they are doing as far as shaders go. http://www.xfire.com/video/40a04a/Oh and btw, what shader would I use for those decals and signs I have? They are really ultra bright on shader transparent chicago and I know that I can't use environment because you can only alpha test 1 bit and I have a higher than 1 bit alpha on it to define the opacilty. Reminds me of Half Life 1.
You need some lights to light up the area. Perhaps maybe use some dynamic lights for a flickering effect in a couple areas to give off a scary feel.

Well I plan to make it scarier looking later on for the zombie expansion when I put in a few more rooms, actually make working doors, rock intrusions in appropriate areas, and damaged looking areas. I think that the lighting is fine, as the darkness would influence the player to make use of the flashlight. Also, adding a creepy sound track would help the player have a better experience.

Hmm... so... wait... did you actually make any new skins for anything? Or is it all CMT and stock? I am wondering because those are the only thing I recognize as being any different. The reticles maybe but the vehicle textures are all CMT, as well as the plasma rifle. The sky and the environment are interesting, but the cliff/rock texture is kind of gross to look at, and sticks out alot from the rest. The dirt is interesting as far as how blends with the darker feel of the map, but it also looks kind of out of place. Also needs a different fog color to match the theme.

yeah i am using cmt textures as placeholders rn cuz they are better lookin then stock and easy to apply and yeah i may just scrap the whole idea but im just messin around to see where this goes im not releasing the cmt textured stuff untill i get a reply about weather im allowed to use them and yeah the grass is new the rock textures (all like 5 of them) are new and most of the overlay textures are fixed (the octagons on covie vehicles for example) Edited by roviet1337 on Feb 14, 2011 at 04:34 AMthis is what its gonna look like when im done :) Update: warthog: abt 45% done Edited by roviet1337 on Feb 14, 2011 at 08:58 AM
