Thanks. I'll see what I can do in the morning. I didn't like the smoke either, I was hoping Halo's default effects would of been more of a variety...

I'm no expert on the issue with the smoke but you should be attempting to spread out the smoke as it gets further out, decreasing opacity as well...

I have no idea...getting the weapon icon to appear below the text instead of right next to it? That's really not a big deal at all to be honest.
