I fell for it D: I actually thought there was something wrong with my hud :P I spent a good ten seconds looking to see whether something was off or not. lol

How do I set up markers? I tried doing it, though they only appeared under markers for my frame, not the regular markers that are need to attach lights, particle systems etc. Trying to add smoke and a light I have set up for this. Whoever shows me the ways of tagging gets a cookie and a chance to meet the Wim.

Place the markers using Guerrilla and set them to the same coordinates as the other markers.

Markers are markers, dumbass. All markers can be used for attachments.
@darf, that would be pointless as after you compile the map, the markers move above the nodes, rather than having it for specific permutations.
Edited by Juan on Jan 15, 2011 at 04:44 PM Are you saying that markers can ONLY used for attachments? Why would they move at all?

Hmm, you should just be able to link the markers to any frame and it should work. That's what I've always done. Maybe double check they all have the # symbol in front and are all linked?

Yeah but if you don't want to put it through the entire 3dsMAXto in-game process it's easier to tag them your self.

Alright so I got mostly everything to work.
Does any one know a bit about lens flares and light tags? My light seems to show up fine in sapien, and in game while in its position. However, when I make it a run an animation I created, the light seems to disappear. This also happens if I place the object in the same area where the animation starts. It simply does not show up. Could this be because of the markers location, or could my falloff and cutoff distances be incorrect?
Help is appreciated.

Still haven't got the light to work. I'll mess with it later. This is what its like in-game as of right now. Not so sure about the smoke, might attempt to make it more gray rather then black.
