Why does no one make them? We have Rocket Hogs, Missile Hogs, Gauss Hogs, Flamethrower Hogs, Transport Hogs, Civilian Hogs.... but not one anti-air Scorpion or infantry support variant.

Um, because the normal halo one scorpion is an AA tank that has a built in machine gun for infantry support?

If it was an AA tank, it would have a smaller, faster-firing cannon, if not several. It would also not be classified as a Main Battle Tank.

But what i'm saying is, it doesn't need to be faster firing because it already blows everything up with one shot.

Halo CE has never really needed any sort of anti-aircraft. Mostly because the smallest, most maneuverable target in Halo CE is the banshee and its about as hard to hit as a skyscraper.(Not to mention it can also be brought down with a handgun)

But in terms of in-universe stuff, when they would be faced by things like Spirits and Phantoms and Seraphs, anti-air tanks would be useful. There's an anti-air Warthog on Extinction.

I don't disagree with you about wanting to see more actual anti-aircraft, but I simply meant that there was no need for it with Combat Evolved's normal encounters. Poor wording on my part.(Again)

But yes it would be cool to see some anti-aircraft stuff even if it is unnecessary.



EDIT: I just remembered the the default warthog actually does have an AA gun. It is equipped with the M41 LAAG or "Light Anti-Aircraft Gun". So "technically" CE does have an AA gun even if it is rather unimpressive.
