Actually I currently have three different plans for this thing(All single player):

1)One of campaign maps will open with a paratrooper jump out of the back of this thing.
2)Have it orbit a map and allow AI controlled guns provide air support in different locations.
3)A simple wave defense map where you fend off waves of banshees(and maybe more if I can make them) with the bubble turrets.

The third being a ten second idea I had at work.

If I ever make it flyable, it will only be for fun, not gameplay.(although this may be the perfect vehicle for maps like hugeass)

Sexy. Poly count must be crazy though. Can the model maybe be optimized for halo 1 without messin too much? The textures are what really make this tag anyway.

Does anyone want to help me with the halo 3 warthog shaders? I will be releasing to everyone on halomaps but I need the shaders to be better, Joddy is helping me but he hasn't been online since we live in different timezones.

The reason I ripped it was because the halo 3 warthog on halomaps.org had double sided shaders and no decals with bad smoothing groups on the windshield.

Edit: I like the shine on the seats though :P

I tried and the shields on the sides messed up. That was the biggest problem.

looks cool skidrow,mental ray is another part of max i've yet to look into.

Mental Ray is like hte best part of 3ds MAX. YOu can make a horrible model look cool. Like you can make a really cool box that glows in the middle.

Glad to see you like the render. Only took about umm like 30 seconds.

You know that is a SPACESHIP? and it was loosely based off of Darkorbit's Goliath K2 Battle cruiser. The cockpit is in front of where the to "outriggers" meet.

The power core is inside. Also I forgot to mention that the blue glowing things are what it fires. Play BigPoint's Darkorbit and you would understand.

That is the old version.
I based mine off the K2.
Loosely.
As mine is supposed to be a newer model.
With combined parts of the Nostromo, Goliath K2, Defcom, and a little from the Big boy.
The newer ones that is.

well i dont believe that the poster above me is shadow,considering he gave everything to l28,who then proceeded to send it all to a bunch of people.
