well duh most people here are teenagers.from what I remember he is 16. I see this community as a place as a starting point where people can come and learn how to model and texture and etc so they can go in the game industry later. This community is also a nice and kind community generally but i wouldn't say a sharing community XD

Haha I remember some of those things! Like the Plasma Rifle, Grenade Launcher and M14. Think I might've seen the "Get up..." one too. Pistol you had released, and I'm sure the MW2 Shotgun was on your photobucket at one point and I saw it.

I REMAED MACHETE !


Remade entierly the model, rounder that my first one.
Textured the blade atm, but yoko will certainly remake it entierly. Handle not textured


Also tried to have a nice rendering exposition.

Idea:

A gun that shoots a grapple hook, 500 KM range. The sequence is you shoot it, the camera follows the hook, it latches, then you zipline to the destination. Then it unhooks it, and it rolls back up in 5 seconds. Max. range is 500 KM again.

it'd be cooler if when it latched on to enemies it explodes and leaves only the lower half of the hostile's body intact, tango down?

The bsp for ours 1st map btw is almost done and only has a few errors when it compiles which is coplanor faces -_-. do any of you guys know how to fix these errors. I we also thinking up some names but they seem crap like 'rough touch' 'or rough cut' because it has rough terrain such would be good for race using our reach ghosts and warthogs

...And all of this is really just to distract you all from the fact that I STILL haven't finished the BR tutorial. At least I finally got to do some semi-legitimate work; I'd say the Brute Shot is my favorite of the 3 sets, mainly because I've always struggled with that weapon.

I agree, those Bruteshot anims are the best Bruteshot anims you've done.
Carbine is pretty sick.
SMG is nice, except the ready somewhat disturbs me - The tiny little wrist movement somehow causes the whole front grip to swing out. It looks almost unnatural imo.

Yes, it makes it hard to judge purely the animation. Halo doesn't have motion blur, of course, and the animations will always look ten times better through a render than they will ingame.

The motion blur isn't that bad, suck it up.
Then again I've been looking at animation in detail for about 3 years now and just can see through the motion blur with ease I suppose...

Neat set, made some comments on the video itself. You've given me a few ideas for me as I'm reanimating the CMT weapons too (mostly refining now).

The bells and whistles of rendering can make anything look good. And like you said, the details are hard to see if one hasn't been doing blurred animations for a while.
I understand that it would look worse in halo, and that for a WIP one wants it to look as good as possible, so you FP animators will probably keep doing your blur. I for one would just like to see it ingame, or at least how it would look like if it did make it ingame.

Cool. I like them all except for the carbine melee, it seems like too much of an insta-melee and not a delayed one like the stock melees.
I also like seeing it ingame for the fact that it's ingame, along with shaders and all.

@ teh lag:

I like them, but the Carbine animation for the reload looks a bit weird TO ME. The carbine dildo\mag ejects at an angle once it leaves its port. I'd expect a straight ejection, but that's just me.
