anybody who ignores crit because it isnt "nice" needs to click this http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=logout&eflag=logout and not log back in until they achieve a double digit age. at this point skidrow, you are possibly THE most immature person i have ever encountered on this site. several respected members (some of which are professionals) gave you perfectly valid and very good crit on how to improve your model, and all you did was respond like a pompous know-it-all. THAT is why people are being "mean" to you. you came on this site and from the very beginning all you have done is act like an ass. thats really the only word i can think of at the moment to describe your behavior. ass.

like maniac said (and said quite well too), if you want respect, you have to show respect. YOU entered OUR community. as a newcomer, it is your responsibility to show members who have been here longer than you respect. once you do that, they will return the respect to you.

not to patronize you gears, but you are a good example. when gears first logged on here, he came in with a good attitude, posted his work, and asked for criticism, which he responded politely to. he showed us respect, and so he gets respect back and is now what i consider a positive and productive forum member.

shape up your act skidrow. start showing us some respect and you will get some in return. if you cant do that then you should probably keep to the school yard until you have the capacity to do so. i hate to be this blunt with you, but thats how it is.

That is a bad render tbh.
The spherical image is reflecting ff of it horribly and all the vertex lighting is really making it look crappy. As well as the glossiness and roughness.
A simple GI (aka clay render) would be nice enough for us to see each detail we need to see.

Also, that silencer looks funky on a Deagle..

To lazy to look down the default iron sight :P

people put scopes on pistols to assist with lining targets up faster. typically if youre using a pistol, youre either out of ammo in your rifle, or are a police officer. or i mean you might just be shooting targets at a range too. same idea applies. you want to get your targets lined up as fast as possible

Or it's the M6D pistol, which is the best weapon ever.

You realize that the Fuel Rod Cannon only weighs 45lbs (unarmed)? So therefore, you are a augmented super-soldier and can flip tanks, yet being able to move around an Alien Rocket Launcher is completely unrealistic? Oh wait, I don't think realism applies here.
