I don't like the grip, it looks too flat. Also, there is a triangle pointing down from it, which looks like an error.

Keep going, it looks like it's going well.

Your polygons on the rear look messy, they dont even show up in the wireframe.

I don't really know how to describe it. The rails themselves look fine, but their position is kinda :\

Length looks fine to me. Width on the other hand... Saying it's thin is adequate.

Cylinders dont have width/thin. Its radius.

No... the diameter is the distance from one side to another. Putting that aside, cylinders can have widths.

Numerical coefficients go first in basic math :]

And that's exactly what I mean. If you have a circle, the distance from the outside to the center is the radius. If you want to measure from one side to another, you call it the diameter.

So this is like two close friends making friendly banter and ranking on each other's mom right? Sort of like "Your Mom's so fat that her senior pictures had to be arial views!" Because if it's not you will have to stop now or be kicked from the forum.

Quick question. I'm about to do some sniper rifle animations, and I want to try a reload style from another game. So far, I want to try a Call of Duty Barrett 50 cal reload style, but Xel tried to convince me that Crysis had better animations, and I can't decide whether to do it Crysis style or CoD style. Any ideas?

Oh my god, are you serious? Like, for real? Nononon...this...this can't be....

Crysis>Call of Duty in terms of animations?...

ARE YOU STUPID

OR SOMETHING?

Infinity Ward has hands down, the best animators in the business shown today. Crysis' aren't bad, but they are nothing special and just barely get the job done for the weapons they are made for.

Rethink your opinion next time, or know what the hell you're talking about.

Crysis has a better procedural animation engine. Call of duty's animations are all Play/stop.

I'm talking about the actual animations and the quality of them, dummy, not how they 'flow together' and such.

Quit picking arguments out of something I said. I really don't give a crap about COD. Nor did I say that I don't like it. But animation quality in general, that is a biased opinion for you guys since 70% of you are already COD fanboys that would to anything to say that COD is "LOL THE BEST GFX AND ANIMATIONS AND EVERYTHING LOL". You know there are faults in the game but you never bring those up in moments when people are having opinions about the game. Also, COD animations are all motion capture.

I own Call of Duty 4 , and I still think Crysis is better in several aspects , even though I've never played it.
Anyhow , Barret 50.cal reload animations from COD are still nice.

If you played the game, and looked at the credits, you'd see there's a list of animators. They used Maya to make them also, no motion capturing except for 3p animations.

And ffs guys, don't start an argument with MW2 vs Crysis. I'm only talking about the animations, and how well made they are, and obviously, for anyone who actually knows a $%@# about animating, they are clearly some of the best.
