Proportions seem off. Like the handle is longer than the blade.

I think you should lighten up/lower the amount of rotation you have on the reload's return to origin.

Melee looks a little weird, and more recoil would be cool when shooting, otherwise great

Haha, ya seriously, It's all the Halo 3 AR and the ODST weapons, distracting us :o

I like the model, and the arms.

cell shading: easy as hell.

Planning on doing a really simplistic arena-style deathmatch mod, all of the weapons are going to be simplistic and cell shaded. It's going to rock.

cell shading a dynamic technique to outline everything, not just the texture

there is this black outline on objects seen on every angle, if you did that in the texture it would be completely black. so no, unless you would be firescythe, it would just mean very basic textures, cus thats what creates the best effect WHEN using cell shading effects.

I know. The gun doesn't have textures applied to it. It isn't even UVWed.

What I did is so simple and easy it's ridiculous.

@BP

Did you even look at the picture? it has no texture, it's using a flipped black model to make it so the lines appear from every direction.

extruded by local normal, to be precise.

Downside of it is it doubles the polycount, so your models will have to be pretty medium-poly or else you'll get performance issues.
