Lulz, people seemed to model the SMG when it was first shown in the trailer. And Bungie had that old concept for the SMG.

Is CMT's FP arms messed up at the wrist? Or is it the animations, or are the arms simply like that?

The wrist is like a black band going all the way around, and the white bump coming up that you see is where that same bump on the Halo 2/3 rig comes up from. Just the way Nugget made/Dano skinned them. Also, it's called an origin you twit, not 'animations.' Gah, you should know >:|

Stock is still fugly. Learn quads for smoothing. A shotgun stock does not have flat sides and sharp edges, it's smooth all around. Also shells are not the size of half my pinkie. they're typically 2 3/4 inches long and a little more than half an inch in diameter.

And for christs sake stop modeling details on weapons that can be will either A not be seen or B be generated through the use of a texture. It's a waste of resources and time.

Do we have to say the same thing here like we did on Modacity? Also, I posted same thing here as on modacity, no changes. Also, stock is not going to be seen.

"Also if this is going into any sort of game you don't need the stock plate. or hardly any details on the stock for that matter. It won't ever be seen."

Keeping stock as plain as possible, since you're not going to see it. This wasn't even going to go in game. I was modeling it to just model it. Is that sufficient?

does it really? each reference i had was a little different, and i wasnt quite sure how to approach the part toward where the person would look into. im surprised that it even came out that well.

The bolts/screws look a bit large. I thought they were wheels on a cannon when I first looked at them. Maybe scale them just a tad bit.

thanks for posting right when you did, DEE. i didnt want to have to edit. i just made this one too. its a red dot reflex sight
before anyone asks, im starting a project on a game. i wont say much other than i want to allow the user to attach whatever they want to any weapon, and that includes these sights. im going to make an EOtech sight next, then unless i can find another widely used scope, im going to move on to a couple of melee weapons like knives and swords

basically, the little tube thing on top is a fiberoptic cable that takes in light even in low light circumstances and projects a dot or some other reticle shape inside the sight. its basically a sight that allows the user to make very accurate shots with a sight that doesnt rely on batteries. it also provides a small amount of zoom

HEY M8s,,,wazzups. been busy with school and such, but made this today instead of listening to teacher. tell me ur opinions. there are a few "broken" faces i gotta fix(i know they aren't called that but that's what i call a bent face with no line segment in it) and a few more details, and i know its nooby but w/e(i based it off the xm8, but made it so that when firing the panels on side slide out to vent heat so they glow red and stuff, fires electrically charged nails, like the nail gun in fear but with shocking qualities :P)

* the little "tanks" under the stock are there cause the power the gun, don't know how they just do

fixes:
"broken faces on back of gun
added fire mode toggle
added the pin u pull when u reload
linked all sub objects(clip,vent slots,scope) to min gun
starting:
idle animation during which he removes scope and puts it back on
reload animation
firing aniamtion1(normal fire)
fire 2(hold fire aka full stream)
overload animation

opinions/constructive criticism appreciated!
