Idle is when he stands still, where the gun just moves up and down. Posing is the animation that plays after a while of standing still, just to keep it interesting.

im going to make an EOtech sight and some knives and swords before i move on to weapons again. i need some more practice to get back into modeling. had my last real final today too, so now all i have to do is finish packing my house for the move and then i can settle down and get some real work done.

its looking nice grunts 7, but i think you can add more triangles to the drum of the weapon. you can see the edges as it is now. also add a front part to the iron sights and make the back iron sights smaller.

The Areas of the HUD are too fat and short in your pic. The ODST ones are wider and a bit more skinny.

hey guys, heres a wep-concept i was bored in illustrato rclass so i did this:



ok stats:

NAME: k12 MCQ Semiautomatic Shotgun- aka k12 sas

rounds: 20x12guage buckshot ***NOTE: in the aniamtion for some reason only 9 ronds showed being ejected, isntead of 20, stupid flash...lol)

accuracy to increasing range: 80%-40%-15%

rof: semiauto fire guessing maybe 3 shots p/second(so 180rpm)

damage to increasing range: 95%-70%-25%

tell me ur crit plz :D

last note: 1 shell seems to be escaping since the key frames didn't match up quite as planned....so ya ignore last shell b4 "reload"

Erm I'm saying that he should make it more like helmet shape. Why make an exact replica of Halo 3, or any other product? It will be much more refreshing and interesting to have an entirely different HUD than for it to be from some other game. If you did that people would say, "Didn't I JUST play a game that had that layout? This isn't nearly as good as that. This sucks." As opposed to this, "Whoa! This guy has some real talent. I'm going to watch for more of his stuff in the future." Even if it is not THAT different, a couple details can go a long way.
