I've been told after extracting the tags you need to use either invader or guerilla to clean up the tags so that they are compatible with mcc tools then you use sapien to check if anything is broken and if not then recompile the map with tool and it should work. My problems so far are that I can't get the tags cleaned when I attempt to as it just skips them all and that i cant import/open them in guerilla as it gives me only errors or tells me to set a working directory first with no way to do so

Since each game in MCC has now an official toolset for modding as well as steamworkshop for easy hosting and distributing, we should start porting over all the maps for Custom Edition and H2V, for the sake of preservation and for newer players to experience and having fun with them. I have seen some ports there already, of course with the OG author creditet in the description. As im just getting into modding, i would need proper instructions on how to port maps over tho, but im more than willing to learn

Thats a great idea, people should port all the Custom Edition and H2v maps over so they get preserved for new players. I have already seen some maps over on the workshop that got ported by people and credit given to the original authors. As im new to modding (but really want to get myself into it) i'll need instructions on how to do that tho |
