Instead of mapping tutorials, is there any kind of manual or book that you can buy that breaks it down real simple...preferably something by the title of "3ds Max 7 for dummies"
If there is, please post the name of it. |

Just look in your local book store for books on 3d studio max. Aren't any books on the Halo CE engine though.

Yeah, I found a book called "3DS Max 8 Revealed" at Barnes and Nobles for $24.99. Just look around and you'll find them.

sadly, i cant buy anything- my parents wont allow that, so luckily, i guess i will have my frend show me...he taught me how to make a small box map, and i took notes. I MADE MY FIRST MAP TODAY! sorry...no screen shots...:(
