i know how to do uvwunwrap but i just cat draw textures very well. does anyone know how to make textures look good?

only think i can tell you is really starting messing around in painshop pro, photoshop or whatever program your using.

But actually i also have wondered how people get so good at making ground textures for halo. Well practice of course. But like some people have some really fancy ground textures for their maps.

yeah but im saying after i get the image from the uvw unwrap i just put it into paint and do my textures there. i want them to look good becuase right now it looks like toontown

it just requires a lot of patience and attention. for example, if your doing a grass texture, dont just make it one solid green color. give it many different shades of green

and also, this is my 200th post! woohoo.

haha congrats. basically im looking for someone with the patience for this. id post pictures but my photobucket thing died...
