When I first got CE, I had this idea, I know it would be reeaaally hard, but it would be interesting: Basicly, everything the same, except the two ships would be vehicles!! Like you could drive them around space, and mabye even have a super-weapon that could be used every few minutes. I know it would be almost impossible probably, but if anyone liked the idea, it would be awsome!!

Yeah, I know, that is just the defaut BSP, you would have to make it a vehicle, make a new BSP in space, and a lot of other stuff, it probabaly is impossible, but if it isn't, it would be awsome!!

in halo ce you can't stay on moving vehicles. you need to be in a seat to stay on a vehicle.

so your exact idea can't happen.

trust me the halo 1 engine does not support that.

i doubt it

well under the biped tag there is a flag that says "can stick to any surface" but i don't think it applies to vehicles.

Ohh, do you mean "climb to any surface"?? If it is, then yeah, I tried it, it does work on vehicles, it is what the flood guys use, but then you could climb the ship, well, that would go along with 0 gravity, and ohh yeah, I forgot, the biped turns so the top (head) will be extruding the face normal, so when you walk near a wall, you will be sideways lol.

BTW, I'm off HaloMaps for tonight, so don't expect another post 'till tommorrow.

hmmmm... well... lets say both of the ships were animated scenery. they would just move across the map and when they get to the end of the map there is a giant invisible teleporter that moves them (and every thing on the map) back to the beginning of the map, and they keep going through them to give it the appearance that thay are moving forever. that might work.

That would be far too difficult. Want a better illusion to make them seem like it's moving? Make an animated sky that has the stars moving past you, and such, and voila, you're "moving". Just like in Futurama, the engines don't move the ships, the ship stays still and the engines move the universe around it. XD

No, I meant that players could get inside of them and drive them, not just move. I was thinking about adding a medium size terrain, mabye, too.
