hey im thinking about making an AI mod of one of the original maps that come with the game. (may or may not release) so i need some feedback on what kind of ai's people like.

basically the options are

covenant only

flood only

sentinels only

marines only

or any combination of the above.

im thinking ill make a mod of gephyrophia or hangemhigh with all the above ai, with marines as allies, but i still want to hear about peoples opinions.

(also i want to learn how to turn a hunter's armor gold like the gold elite's but i dont know how, anyone who can tell me my xfire is ukironclad)

im not trying to make a noob map (part of the reason my final version doesnt have the super hunter) there will be NO super weapons. my super hunter is incapable of firing his gun, but is very resistant to any attacks. if you want to test him out, here is a link for a map with the beta version of my super hunter

The original maps are boreing as hell, make an AI mod of a custom map. There are some very wonderful custom maps that would be perfect for an AI mod.

How about a map where you play as a jackal with jackal alies armed with brute plasma rifles. And you fight flood.

I am working off and on with a AI moded map where you play as a jackal, but i keep starting over. I been trying to get some fuel rod grunts to actually kill things.

I got another idea i like but my skills arn't up to par for it yet.

You play as the monitor with sentinal allies that follow you around. And you lead them against the flood, maybe even have a MC biped running around fighting the flood. But make the MC really really strong like if a player was playing him. And it would be like the library where the sentinals are helping MC against the flood. Plus the monitor biped can't die so it would be fun.

Yeah, and then maybe make the Two Betrayals level, where you have to fight MC.

Uhh, Death Island would be tough to put AI in. It's so big and there are some many places you need the AI to go... But then again, someone did make that Lethality Canyon mod...

there are tons of AI mods to death island, it's a boreing map. It's not hard just time consuming to make a complete AI mod of death island. That is unless you use player cliping to reduce areas you can go into. It would only be fun if AI would drive warthogs, but they don't.

well i dont want to mod a custom map. the EULA says i can, but i dont think its right without permission. i mad a modded gephyrophia, and its alright except i cant make sentinels shoot their lasers, and i cant put as many ai in. i reach the ai database limit.

hey make a map with human and covenant ai battleing it ou in the middle of the map and a few of the coveys and humans weapons are knives.

the EULA has nothing to do with making mods to Halo CE maps.

also the AI datebase is very large, you would need to have tons and tons of AI to reach it.

could be you have made too many encounters, you could try making fewer encouters and just more squads..who knows.

idk what prime c3 is, lol. but yeah i did reduce the encounters and switch things to squads. seems to work better. i cant make my sentinels do anything but fly in circles though! i asked tehganon how to make them shoot and he laughed at me. so im stumped pretty much

? why? how would posting on an old thread get me banned. saying stupid things and being a prick would get me banned yes. but generally I am not one of the people who do that sort of thing.

sorry, not hinting anything there, just stating fact.

I was just curious and wanted to look at some of the things people were doing on this forum so long ago. think of it as ancient history.
