It just REALLY gripes my guts when people steal **** from me. I'd had bikes, toys, girlsfriends, sisters stolen from me, and it pisses me the **** off when people steal the things I pour so much effort and love into. I was actually going to release that skin open sourced to the community anyway, because we're making an actual proper halo 3 AR. Haven't started texturing yet though, still unwrapping and fixing model problems. BD

I'd resize them but I'm kinda lazy. Does this forum have shot tags? I made the images big so people could see the patterns clearer.


Also, I'll be here alot more often. Might as well post WIP's too as well.

Still the CMT stuff is top notch, though do all of the members use such foul language?

right now it's all opinions, you can't really prove these claims by one single image.

Of course I can prove, becasue I and other people on my team worked on these things. We know it like the back of our hands, pixel for pixel. Theres no "other" possibilities. Just LOOK at the dam thing, not it's colour. Look at hte placement of detail. It's as clear as light.

You have no right to say what we can and can't prove, when your view is biased on the situation. Scooby didn't even skin the spartan laser properly when he did it. He messed up a few details, colours and put a ****ty sponge detail filter on it. Those exact same errors are here, in the exact same places. It's not even debatable. Anyone with eyes can see that.

Why hasn't m6deep come and posted in this thread yet? Why is he avoiding? Because hes been ratted out, and doesn't wan't his reputation spoiled. Too late for that.

I'm still waiting for him to post "his" SL skin. As soon as he does, I'll post our version.

I'm waiting for proof either way now, since you guys from CMT have come here for just this reason it really is bringing up questions now.

some people require proof in different ways, i am not saying that it's not possible that he riped it but right now i can't tell. But D4NO you are right, he has not came to defend himself either which is odd.

well just out of curiosity, how would he rip it from the map? im not defending him, im not against him im just wondering. if i recall, you guys compile your bitmaps differently than we do and encrypt the map as well as protect them for this exact reason. he hasnt been on xfire either by the way.

Ripping maps is very easy, more and more people are finding out how to do it, which isnt good and thats why map protection was made so people could protect their work they made unliek hwat may have happened here. Its just the way that Hek+ protects the map, that makes ripping them easy, and thats all im going to say

i too have been swayed to cmt's side in this. i sympathize with dane as it is clearly his assualt rifle, and scoobys laser.

yes someone must be good to get around their protection. though he could have got the model without riping it from their maps really. if he is a good tracer he could do it in gmax or 3ds max easily though it would still take effort to get it rounded and scaled right.

Ripping is quite easy. It's been possible since when HEK came out. Cheatsman and his crew are just late bloomers.

I wasn't on CMT's side in the beginning, but, after I saw that, now I am. It does look like it is ripped from CMT, I recognize the Assault Rifle. The Spartan Laser looks as if he made the model himself, but he ripped the bitmaps from CMT out of laziness to make his own.

this is coming from the donut who "helped" deep with this stuff: deep, if you ripped this (which i honestly think you did) i am disgusted that i tried to help you and make it look good and add some cool stuff to it but more so than that, i am repulsed that you lied to me. i knew something screwed up was going on when u sent me a gun that was 23 megs of bitmaps. hey D4NO, let me guess, you compressed the ma5c bitmaps with 32 bit color, 2048x 2048 right? and they were about 7 megs each am i right?

Noone likes to be accused of stealing and at first i was on his side thinking...just maybe it was his own. But after overlaying the outlines of both images in gmax i realized that they were the exact same. if they were different models at least some of it would have been shaped different.

If I am correct I remember you ripping CMTs models and offering them to me. (I didn't take them D4NO and Scooby, I sympathize for you), I hope you didn't just give them to M6dEEp to skin them. Shame on you two if you did.

Thats one thing great about the internet is you can't really ruin your reputation. Because no one knows really who a person is. He could just join as another name and boom his reputation is back to 0 and he would have a clear name. But yet for doing this he could become someone well known. hogdriver was riping from protected maps and he god well known and maybe this guy wants the same status. Some people get their joys from sealing from others.

He should have at least used a different texture and he could have maybe got away with it.

ouwch thats a low tactic, good luck with fixing the problems cause if he actualy stole/made/ripped the thing how are you going to get it back from him or elt alone prevent him from using it i mean offcourse Dennis can block his maps from being uploaded but what if he puts em somewhere else and unprotected.... i expect trouble in the future.... *orders alot of The gannon's Chill pills*
