do AI bots not follow command lists in water? I was wondering cause i am doing a beach assault mod with AI and they are not following my lists. I checked and rechecked so i was wondering if they just don't follow lists in water?
but it's wierd cause they follow move possitions but not my command lists.

dont check allow initiative. if you so, they will just sitt around with thier thumbs up thier asses not doing anything. and haveing them in water shouldnt make a difference.

I keep checking that damn allow initative, as it would make since to do so. But thats not how it works, thanks for reminding me. some of the language used in the HEK is wacko i swear.

I do not know, I have done plenty of ai mods on beach assault. The only thing i can think of is the allow initiative. You might have to script because i have had problems with ai not moving on room_final ai mods i have made.

Im my pervious post i meant to say i figured it out. It was the allow initiative, with command lists you don't allow that. my problem now is getting my AI bots to fire and not be idiots. I can't get some fuel rod grunts to hit anything. Though i love watching hunters smash marines i need to figure out to to get things to fire better and more acurate.

Its all in the actor varient tag, Kirby should know.
This explains to me why I couldnt get a stupid marine in a Pelican or my old LS Pod... Thank you for asking this Rm, and evryone else for answering. Edited by Caboose117 on Jun 8, 2007 at 08:22 PM

Naturally you assume you would check initative, it would make since to do so. I know that its just so easy to forget cause its does not make since when you really look at it.
I have opened the actor varents tags and looking around but i don't know how to get them to fire skillfuly. I did fix the fireing rate on some plasma rifle marines but i can't get the fuel rod grunts to hit anything at all.

dude grunts are retarded anyway. i love them but theyre freaking stupid haha. but ifyou want to edit the accuracy, its in the actor_varient tag under projectile error or something like that.

I like jackles the best, i like playing as one in Halo CE. Grunts are sort of cute in a way, how they talk and get owned just so damn easily. But i agree they are pretty stupid. it's worse to play as a grunt..unless they have shields.
thanks ill check the projectile error or whatever it is tommorow..ill look more into it and see what turns up.
