I really did not want to bother the community with this question as alot of people ask it. This is why i searched the forum for this question but did not find anything, as the search only goes up to 90 days.
But i really wanted to figure this out as i am enjoying with with AI. I want to expand my knowledge. I wish i could make AI follow me with command lists.
But i want to get sentinels to follow me around in game.
so overall i am looking to figure out this:
How do i make an AI follow player script and compile it correctly using a riped scenario?
I have not seen a tut on compileing scripts with riped scenarios.

ok you see where the scenario is located? well make adata folder equivilent to that and make a new folde named "scripts" no quotes. then use hguru's easy halo scripter and make the script form there. now place the script in the (yes u guessed it) scripts folder. now open yo scenario with sapien and go to file and click compile scripts

somone needs to make a tutorial on making a AI follow players script. I can't find one. i wish you could do this with command lists

I've been wondering about this for a long while. I can't seem to get the AI to follow me when they're supposed to. No one seems to know the answer.

well do you at least have a script though, even if they don't follow correctly.
i am working on an idea that will be sort of squad based. Part of my idea will have you gunning in a warthog while an AI drives you around a map. I think this can be done actually, without scripting. I will be working on a command list for this in a day or so.
so i wanted to like in the level get out and have the ai follow you inside a base.
do you have a script?

Haha, I've had two enemy teams blow the crap out of me before, but never my own teammates. lol
I'm gonna have to try that. But I'm just curious as to how Bungie got them to follow you flawlessly in the campaign.

What kind of scriping tut is it? AI scripting?
