One way you could get a effect you want with nav points by setting up AI in a map under race game type. I know you can do it i just have not figured out how to get AI to be just under one game type. I have just started watching some AI tuts so it might be in there somewhere. But that what i would look into.
but the down point on that, while you can make a sort of nav point. if you die you still have to start at the start of the level.

One way to get Ai to only showup in a certain game type would be to have 4 test vehicles "one for the 4 game types that can be selected in sapian" that were spawned in a trigger volume. Then test the volume at startup for one of these vehicles. If there is no vehicle the game type is race and you set a global varible to race. I would use a global short and set the number to what you wont ie 0 = race 1 = ctf ect. and when you got to place the ai check the global and spawn the ai you wont. I will go into this more if you wont

I don't really understand that lol.
But i am not really working with AI at the moment, i just tried messing around with it a bit the other day. I would want to know more if i had plans to make a AI experience.
I still am trying to figure out how to get AI to show. I got a tut and followed it but my AI never showed up. I got to follow it more close when i get the time i think i messed up following the steps anyhow.
but the guy that started this thread, he might want to know how to do that.

of course i know how 2 make AI and 2nd of all this is an SP map im making
and dont forget i still need help on making objectives 2 show in pause section
