apparently.....some1 is making a movie about Halo, it will follow the storyline you play as campaign.....wonder why? not just a machinima movie, but a real movie you watch in the cinema...

It was going to be directed by Peter Jackson, and use the CGI team from the Lord of the Rings movies.

However, it has been put on hold because of money issues.

P.S. Samuel Jackson was going to Sargent Johnson. I only know that because of Star Wars. =P

Ok, no to both. The first guy has no Idea what he is talking about. Peter Jackson will not be making the halo movie because he asked for too much money for the fellowship of the ring, and people got pissed and fired him from the job of directing it. As for teh actors they haven't even been chosen yet. There are a lot of rumors around the internet, don't believe the first thing you read.

The rock is suppose to be doing spy hunter...... and doom ( i saw the unrated onw WOOT) was ok.... but I heared it had nothing to do with the game's ..... but like i said it was ok. What we need is a movie about the whole halo series from the first novel (or a little befor the UNSC encounterd the Covenant) to the end of halo 3 or where ever the Ghosts of Onyx book left off.... and continue that. They just need to get it all in order and put it into a movie and then it would be awsome!

Hmmm.... After some searching this was the only picture I think I may have been able to find of David Scully. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually it was the black coach from remember the titans, and the director of the movie is some kid who hasnt made a movie yet so hes what some may call a "n00b" but he made a TV series. Sorry I dont know what its called. Yes the movie is still on hold. Oh and but the way a company bought the rights to Gears Of War so they are going to make a Gears Of War movie.

I think the guy who actually plays the voice of Master Chief should be the guy who plays him in the movie. But, thats just me.

Maybe it could be like the way they did Darth Vader, have Chuck Norris play him on screen and have the guy who does MC's voice record the voice.

No, it's only coming to Home Video and AI chips. Oh, and HDPVDVD Players (Lol, gotta love RvB).

Of course it'll come to DVD. Blue-Ray, too, most likely.

But it should cover the storylines of Halo 1, 2, and 3, plus a little of Halo Wars, meaning the entire Covenant story in 1 movie.

No, the Covenant was fighting with humans way before Halo 1, like in the books.

Please note that I said a little bit of Halo Wars at the end. Most likely, they will have a little series of flashbacks in the beginning, where it shows MC getting recruited, The Covenant invasion, ect., before MC wakes up and it was all a dream as he sits there being defrosted in his cryo tube.
Most likely, it will go like this:
Movie opens up with a huge space battle over Reach. Pillar of Autumn does a blockade run through the Covenant ships. The POA gets very close to the camera, and on the side we can see the words:
Halo: The Movie.
The camera then slows down as the POA passes, turns, shows every ship under Arbiter's command chasing the POA, then turns again to show the POA jumping into Slipspace. If you did a freeze-frame at just the right moment as the POA passes, you could see the Marathon Logo.
The camera shifts to a view of Halo, surrounded by Covenant ships, turning to see open space for a second, until the POA comes out of Slipspace, slows down, and stops so the camera, without moving, goes through the POA's windshield, and is behind Capitan Keyes and Cortana. Then it continues similar to Halo 1's opening cutscene, with Keyes and Cortana having a similar discussion, and follows the cutscene until it gets to the part where they unseal the hushed casket. That part is cut out, and replaced with a dream sequence, starting with a little bit of MC meeting Dr. Hasley and Private Keyes and being recruited into the Spartan program, then his first training, with him counting out 499... 500... and his Sargent saying, "Too easy. Do it again!", then a little bit of Harvest being attacked by the Covenant, MC's first mission against the Covenant, losing another Spartan and a personal friend (Whose name I can't remember) aboard that Covenant Cruiser, which detonates right as MC and Kelly, I think her name was, I don't know, my mind isn't working right now, escape. The dream sequence continues to Reach, where MC first meets Cortana, shows MC running through a little bit of the obstacle course, MC getting in the POA, the POA taking off, about to run the blockade, and then the dream sequence ends with MC waking up in the Cryo-tube.
It will probably wind up like that, give or take a few things.

yeah. if ya wanna, there are...three halo books that i know of. read them in order though. The Fall of Reach, The Flood, and First Strike.

4 Books out, 1 in production.
