which books are the games based off? or are they a story not based off the books? i dont really know much about the halo storyline.

Now, Samuel L. Jackson (a.k.a. Mace Windu) could pull off the part of Sargent Johnson. I don't know why, but I can see him running around with an assault rifle, killing Covenant and insulting fellow marines.
Chuck Norris could actually pull of the role of the Master Chief. They're both awesome, and everyone knows that it's really Chuck Norris under there. The old fart who does MC's voice should do the real MC's voice, and have Cortana be played by the real Cortana. Maybe make MC and Cortana have mid-battle conversations like they do in the books.
MC: Cortana?
Cortana: Yes?
MC: How come you always tell me that I need to turn left, or go up that hill, but you never tell me how many Covenant there are?
Cortana: There's two Hunters around this corner.
MC: Huh?
(MC almost gets hit by Hunters' fuel rods)
Cortana: Better?

However, writing like that does make you look like a lazy child who never learned to speak properly or ever went to school. And I am assuming that you did in fact go to school and are not as young as your writting suggests.

Web forums are a "written" medium: Meaning that all communication is with the written word. There is no body language or facial expression cues to imply meaning so everything relies on what and how you write. When you omit letters or use short hand to communicate in a web forum your meaning and message is more often than not perceived to have less value.

Seriously, I think that it would be waaaaayyyy better if it were CGI (After all, the game is CGI) and use the Bungie's voice actors so people who play the game will know that it's really the MC and not just Chuck Norris or someone stupid in a suit.
