um, whenever I open my .scenario tag for my map in sapien, sapien starts loading, then the whole program just quits. can someone tell my why?

you don't just open tool to get it to work! go to command prompt and type cd C:\directory name here. then type tool.exe and put your command line in.

You have a bad tag, just take out all of the vehicles and netgame equipment and retry. ( you take them out in guerrila btw)

tags\sound\sfx\weapons\superduperwtfgunofdoom\fire.sound
once you get/find this tag youre map wont open, simplest way to fix, go here tags\sound\sfx\weapons now make a new folder called superduperwtfgunofdoom now go into tags\sound\sfx\weapons\assault rifle right click on fire.sound click copy now go back into the new folder called tags\sound\sfx\weapons\superduperwtfgunofdoom right click and paste, then open sapien |

i dont have dual anything, that im aware of.
though, i did recently have my motherboard replaced. I had to do a Windows repair install -- it went through the standard installation screens of windows xp, but did not delete any of my files. i DID reinstall sapien however, prior to posting the problem. |

Instead of cluttering the Technical / Map Design section of the forum (its fine to do but irritating), go look around and see if anyone else has had a similar problem. There is at least 1 topic on Sapien or Tool errors started every other day. Just look around for similar errors, your sure to find an answer.

well, reinstalling it obviuly isn't working so stop. it usualy says that when you are missing somthing in the instalation file so it reinstalls it wrong every time. just an educated guss.
BTW, what did lil izy do to get booted from the post? |

I applaud your use of search to find solutions, just don't post in old threads and make a new one instead for your question and leave a link to this one if its important that people look at it again. All caps are tough on the eyes, so just don't do that...
