When I get to the window that says Play, Uninstall, and Web Connection, I click the play button and it acts like it's going to launch, then doesn't. I've tried running the compatibility troubleshooter, but every setting it changes doesn't work. I've tried changing the compatibility settings to each previous version of Windows, and nothing works. I'm running Windows 10 right now. Any suggestions?

You need to update the game. Download and install the patch from this link:
