Allows you to toggle developer cheats via hotkeys.

FEATURES:

• Hotkeys will NOT be activated if game is not focused, chat is open, console is open, or during ui text input (setting player name, server name, etc).


• Allows you to enable console via devcheats.ini without needing -console in your Halo shortcut.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Place devcheats.dll and devcheats.ini into your controls folder. You can customize hotkeys and settings from devcheats.ini file.
IF DEVCHEATS DOES NOT LOAD: Try installing the x86 Visual C++ Redistributable

DEFAULT HOTKEYS:
NumPad0 = Toggle Cheat Hotkeys (Press to enable/disable hotkeys for cheats)
NumPad1 = Toggle Deathless Player
NumPad2 = Toggle No Fall Damage
NumPad3 = Toggle Infinite Ammo
NumPad4 = Toggle Bump Possesion
NumPad5 = Toggle Super Jump
NumPad6 = Toggle Medusa
NumPad7 = Toggle One Shot Kills
NumPad8 = Toggle Bottomless Clip
NumPad9 = Disable All Cheats
NumPadAdd = Some Happy Stuff
NumPadSubtract = Toggle Speed Boost
NumPadMultiply = Fling
NumPadDivide = Toggle Noclip
NumPadDecimal = Boost
Home = Force Respawn
End = Toggle Time Freeze
Page Up = Toggle Brain-dead AI

cuz NUMPAD keys are not there in my laptop >:v

If you're going to post images like that can you try to make them like 25% of that size. You don't have to compensate for your small size.

I have downloaded HAC2 and the files you posted. I put them where each developer said to put them and it simply will not work. I have tried resetting HALO multiple times, verifying that the files are in the controls folders. Any ideas why it won't work? I am running Halo 1.0.10 on Windows7.

That's not very descriptive. Does Halo load? Are you getting any error messages?

My apologies, Halo loads fine and runs like normal. But none of the cheats will activate. I try hitting num pad 0 to toggle whether they work or not and nothing happens. Was I supposed to change the target line or anything on my shortcut to open Halo? Also, I tried using it in PC and Custom edition (private LAN server) and still cannot get the cheats to turn on.

On game startup does it print any messages?

There are no error messages or anything printing when I turn on the game. Nothing from the game or your files. Are you talking about messages in the game, like on the bottom left corner that you showed in your video?

Correct. By default, messages will be printed there if devcheats loaded successfully on game startup.

So considering that there are no messages there, any idea why devcheats is not loading? Should I have done anything else other than putting the application files in the correct places?

You could try installing the x86 Visual C++ Redistributable, but if you're not getting any missing file errors then it probably won't help.

Also, where exactly are you placing dll and ini file? For example, if your using the default Halo CE directory it should be:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\controls\

Aha! I installed the x86 Visual C++ Redistributable like you said and it works now! Thank you so much! And yes, I had them in the correct place, so everything should be all happy now. I know I am! Haha

I've updated devcheats. You'll have to download it again if you want the new hotkeys.

The new Hotkeys:

• NumPadSubtract = Toggle Speed Boost


• NumPadMultiply = Fling


• NumPadDivide = Toggle Noclip


• NumPadDecimal = Boost

Is it compatible with PC version too?

This is not working with Open sauce installed :( It crashes halo at startup
