So before I had a 1GB HD 7850 (900Mhz), and on UI.map I would get 300-700 FPS, and in-game on SPV3 I would get 60-120fps.
Now on my 4GB RX 470 (1260Mhz) I get 120fps on UI.map, vanilla maps run at 90-100 FPS and CMT SPV3 runs at 40fps.
What's going on?

It may be something to do with your drivers. Have you updated your GPU driver to the latest version?

Check your OS settings and graphics driver settings (for AA, AF, ect)

In case you have an integrated GPU as well, make sure CE is in fact using the new graphics card. Were there any OS changes (windows)?

There were no OS changes, no integrated GPU and I have the latest AMD drivers.

Architectural changes could be to blame.

Or perhaps there is some unknown bottleneck you have yet to uproot.

Disabling decals doesn't do anything for the FPS

It usually does. I'm assuming you tried it out?

Looks like you best bet is to buy a new GPU

Decals weren't an issue back when I had a GT 440 or a 7850, and they don't seem to be an issue now.

I don't remember what the AMD panel looks like but double check that anti aliasing isn't being forced somehow

I just realised that I have 2 installs of CE, one of them runs so much quicker because it doesn't have a lot of maps. The UI and vanilla maps run great now, the menu sits around 800fps now, but CMT SPV3 still runs worse than it did on my 7850.
My FX-6300 wouldn't be bottlenecking it, would it?
