Halo 4 BSPs have been ported, so there's your answer. 32k polies is the visible render limit in CE with OS, but portals can help you allocate visibility. Anything is possible if you know how to do it, I guess. Of course, you should know.

Yes. However the Halo 1 single player BSPs have a decent poly count as it is, higher than one may expect. Creating an even higher detailed BSP would create a lot more work for the team with especially portal placement/etc. I think that large bsps (such as the a30 or b40 exteriors), would have to be split in half and then exported as seperate bsps to really get the most bang for your buck. Then you would have to script in another BSP switch, as well as fixing any errors the extra BSP creates. As jesse said, it really isn't worth it. However it's been something I've considered playing with in the future.

Someone posted on the reddit threads how to activate cheats.
I believe it was something like "delete SPV3a10 and start with SPV3A05 and activate cheats, they should transfer on from there"
Haven't tried it myselfs.

Been a while since I have visited here, needed a giggle, but then I saw this thread. Congrats Masterz and the team for getting this out there for everyone here to enjoy, for free, using your own personal time.
It reminds me why I give up with most of the newer generation of Halo community, all the moaning and unappreciative spoilt kids here, my oh my.
What most of you really mean first of all, is thank-you. Then if you want to criticise constructive then i'm sure CMT will take it on board but at least say something nice first, if you have nothing nice to say then don't download and don't post.
At some point I will get back into the gaming world and modelling, just lost of the heart for it at the moment, so in the future I would lend a hand with the rest of it Masterz if you would be willing, as I have given false promises already as I simply lost the heart for it all :(
But yeah again well done guys, I will install and give a go sometime! :)

I seriously think that the Plasma pistols should not have had the energy draining if you were to hold the overcharge thingy. I feel that it is more of a multiplayer balancing thing and not really good for single player campaign stuff. It's kind of unnecessary and pointless in single player if you ask me. I don't even want to pick up any of the Plasma pistols just because of how dumb and how fast the draining is when you hold an overcharge.
Brute shot and Gravity grenades are all you need for the whole campaign in any situations and difficulties.
Usable Jackal shields are pointless and visually get in the way when using. It would have probably been a lot better if it was to zoom out to third person when using it or something. Maybe if you guys still want it in first person then do something like the shield is off to the side, almost off the screen to the right side, and then when you want to use it you hold down the mouse button and first person arms would move the shield in front like blocking. *Also shield bashing melee would have been cooler. ;)
DMR bullet spread over time is way too big.
Those armless animal thingies are super pointless how you guys implemented them. They look like they are just everywhere and they just stand there unless you attack a few. They are really unnecessary and takes up space. It feels like they are only there just for the purpose of having them.
Marine helmet is blocky... :l
I'm wondering why the Brutes are super naked now. They looked better more armored before.
Sprint felt really choppy... Probably be best to just remove the camera movement or whatever you want to call it. _____________ Thoughts on maps
A10: I still disliked and got sort of lost at times in the big open room areas with the vertical combat, whatever those places are supposed to be for. The hex pattern on the Covenant boarding ships should be fixed around the door way... __ A30: The choice of enemy encounter or whatever is pretty poor in the very beginning where the Phantom detects you at your crash site. I mean like, they were all Brutes... It just felt weird to start off with a group like that. *This was on normal difficulty too. If it was on any other difficulty, it would have been a clusterfu-k. >.>
Also the Phantom that drops the group off sinks into the ground for a bit and then flies off.
There also seem to be some kind of invisible object or collision issue going on in the air/area right next to the crashed escape pod. It's not something ignorable either. It takes up a pretty big area. You can walk through it and stuff but bullets and thrown grenades won't. It seems that it is only on one side though. If you were to be looking from the waterfall side to the escape pod and off the cliff, it would be the area to the left of the escape pod. __ A50: Disappointment. It didn't seem like there was anything special about it. It felt like it was pretty much just a tag swap for the most part. __ B30: Disappointment. Yeah, but my point is that by posting it at other places across the web, its drawing less traffic to Halomaps, which is the biggest database for map files for Halo CE. Even though they are installing to play SPV3, something that is drawing attention of new players should point them in the direction of a website like Halomaps where they can be exposed to more than just one mod. It's not saying they wont eventually get here either or haven't already heard of it, but it'd help. The logic of saying that posting on this website isn't important anymore is quite frankly dumb if your trying to get as many new people as you can into the game considering this website is pretty much the hub for Halo CE maps / mods. There is no way we could refer them here. The moderation here wouldn't be able to handle the traffic, we need multiple threads, and we need a multitude of topics. We bundle the UUI with the game, which refers people to halomaps to try more maps and campaigns, with a link here, including projects such as lumoria. I am not sure how it can be fixed, but it might have something to do with the heat values used to control the 3-round burst (if the CMT BR even uses that technique.) If it does, the weapon probably needs an overheated grenade throw animation.

Yeah, there is something weird going on with it with the heat where it can cause the grenade throw animation to play infinitely. if thrown when overheated. No one was able to figure out why in time for release.

In the POA, there appears to be DMR ammo that's shape is similar that to the AR/Pistol/SMG/BR ammo, but in the later levels it's that of the sniper rifles'. Oversight?
