I just wish there was SP map making support.

so what's the point, with this being just for win 10, and this is not a full game, so why?
all seems to me, this is just some junk to get you on win 10, at lest that's my point of view.

It's free, what did you expect? Paid on Xbox and free on Windows 10?

They could always go back on their word though. "Free on Windows 10" could be "Free on Windows 10 for whoever bought the game".

Don't get me wrong their are some aspects of win10 which I like.

Actually it's just a few icons and some UI interfaces.

IKR I've been holidng off playing DOOM until there is full support.

True, but Xbox would be lost without the Halo franchise being mostly exclusive on it, so I can't really blame MS or 343I for this

Their are far fairer and more cost effective ways to make a product popular and appealing as a posed to dlc and microtrans. Amazingly these do not include tricking die hard franchise fans into expending their hard earned cash on meaningless propositions which sound far more than they actually are.

Wow! Microsoft built a whole console based department solely off of the back of 1 game franchise? Sounds like garbage to me, and they would deserve to fail and die.

This is why DLC is ruining games right now.

Because nobody cares about price for content which means every one buys everything at top dollar, because everyone else is buying everything at top dollar, because everyone else is buying crap at top dollar.

I'd blame the pricing on the companies were it not for the idiot's who either have more money then brains or just prefer to ruin the experience of buying additional content for the less fortunate.

If people just stopped handing their money hand over fist for let's be honest content which is really benefiting the publishers rather than the developers we wouldn't have games costing 59,99 or 79,99 if you want the limited edition with a fold up anime gurl poster.

As long as the trailer is awesome and uses "quaint" 2010 graphix.

Well, games are fairly expensive to make, and the content you get is way more then most media out there so a $50 price is somewhat fair

So I didn't read anything here, is it free as in it's free or is it free for those who own Halo 5 already?

As far as I've figured it out, you'll get full access to custom games and forge for free. You can only play online with friends, but hey, how hard is it to add people to your friendlist?

You'll also have acces to ALL maps, including the ones already made on xbox and the ones made by 343i (As far as I've figured it out)

You need to have Windows 10 though to play it, and you will not get the campaign, nor warzone or firefight or matchmaking.

But hey, let's see what modders can do shall we?
