You need watch your mouth there buddy, once someone crack MCC files from xbox one, Halo online Eldorito will finally play Halo 3 sp. This game would be fully dead and halo online is running on halo 3 engine.

I'm still here after... what, five or six years? I joined the Halo: Online hype when they first cracked it and helped fix a few bugs and quickly grew bored as currently Halo: Online simply doesn't have the customization of Halo CE. Once (if) H:O has the ability to edit/create maps and place AI and such, then I believe more people will migrate over.

For now, it's not as good as Halo Custom Edition. There's not really any argument to be made over it imo.

You do know Microsoft would have not let that happen and just set up a whole other studio for it, right? Who do you think really owns the Halo series when you get down to it because that is exactly what happened when Bungie stopped making halo. It's not like 343 had much talent besides some Bungie and industry veterans. It would be the same situation but under a different name.

Why does it have to be an "us vs them" situation? Both teams have different goals and both are accomplishing great stuff.

Indeed it will be about 4 years.
I too have done significant scientific research on this topic, made mathematical models and simulations. All results point to 4 years of Halo CE left.

yeah, it will be a fun ride. that is, hoping the guys making os are there.

After intense psycho-social analysis of this forum's population, all simulations indicate a 98% likelihood of this ride not in fact, being fun.

Getting back to the "It's gonna be around for another 4 years" thing... Halo CE is the best PC halo, and all Microsoft is doing is killing it off. Because of DirectX 12, I can't play Halo CE without using safemode or making it windowed and I can't play H:O at all. Unless bungie makes another new patch, Halo CE is gonna die.

Dont compare crappy TSCE to halo online eldorito because that map is getting what halo online eldorito have already got like hyjacking, sprint animation, 60fps, better AI sync, lightning, forge, ragdoll, better netcode, better port and firefight is coming just you wait.
