Hi all, I'm looking to make a full custom-built HUD for a mod I'm working on. Any recommendations on good tutorials for learning the process?

Jesse made a thread just for you a while back, but I can't find it.

Very useful. If anyone is interested in how to create a custom HUD using 3ds max (allows for better precision), download the file located in the "resolution" post of this thread: http://opencarnage.net/index.php?/topic/5709-xbox-version-of-the-shield-bar/The .max file and relevant bitmaps can be found in the "source" folder. This process involves creating the UI's graphical elements as shapes in 3ds max, then setting up a camera and rendering.
