Hello guys, I think we are sick of all annoying people that hates Blam, btw I think that we could improve Halo in a really easy way: we use a second renderer.

Since Halo's Blam is light, dynamic and familiar we can use it as the basic engine, where everything except the graphics rendering run, and use a new renderer for the graphics.

It's like CEA, Blam actually run the game while the modern one renders the cool graphic.

What do you think?
It's really possible and easy and I would open a github project soon.

Didn't Samuco did something like that already? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHryD3GyxsQ

I think it would be easier to rebuild a Halo game in Unity/UE4 than to write a D11 rendering engine and extend a 10 year old by game.

Why do we have to build a new 3D rendering if we can use UE or Unity? It would be also much easier.

I think you grossly underestimate the complexity of programming and game development.
None of this is easy.

You can't just take Unity/UE4's rendering engine and paste it on top of Halo.

People seem to forget why 343 sticks with the Halo engine despite it being old and not understanding it. There are things Halo's engine does that would take forever to replicate and get feeling right in a new engine. Every "Halo" in another engine has come up against not being able to do one of the core things right.

That's the matter : throwing away Blam is a mistake, Halo is built on a intelligent way of managing tags. You can build a copy of Halo in UE or Unity, but it's just a copy.
