To the Halomaps community;

I present to you the last update to Keyes: Bottomless Horror Edition, the remake of the mission that has an element that has been considered the most frightening thing in Halo history by many.

The presentation video; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Abr6zbysXrA

And the download link; https://www.dropbox.com/s/4znt24ox31s50ku/Keyes%20Bottomless%20Horror%20Edition%202-5.7z?dl=0

Due to extreme technical problems with the scripts, I can no longer continue updating this, and for that I sincerely apologize. I hope you enjoy what I was able to provide, even if it's unfinished.

Feel free to leave me any comments here, or on the video's page.

Thank you, and again, I hope you enjoy what I was able to give.

Is that an implication of something positive or negative? :P

10/10 I love crazy maps like this. Why don't people ever make more?

What VISR files are you using for this? It is so smooth on my PC, even at windowed with not a very high resolution. I've had issues accomplishing this for Sector 09 to the point where I could only get the quality by running it at highest resolution, full screen. Thanks for your response dude!

What could be a cool and creepy mod isn't all that scary but just random assets thrown everywhere. Sorry for being blunt. I'm also a fan of MM :)

What would be creepy would be a map made by yonlex with completely custom assets.

I'm using the VISR tags that were provided by clonecam117, who happens to be rather talented in my opinion.

If you want them, I can suggest that you ask him for a link to wherever he uploaded them (I forget where it is), as my tagset is a mess right now. I could try to dig them up without dragging along extra things, but that would be blatantly time consuming. :P

I was trying to clean this up the best I could, but along came an error that's too much trouble to resolve. The problems I've been having recently have made this project not worth working on anymore, and I have something in mind that could turn out to be more fun than this.

My views on the subject have now changed; there's plenty of remakes of the original Halo 1 campaign for players to enjoy (although the best are CMT's works, hands down), and I'll produce something with greater originality. :)

To give you a hint at what it is, it will provide an amount of nostalgia for those who have played custom maps released around the early days of Halo Custom Edition, but it won't be something that can be considered a remake.

Area 53-55 :D Fixed, modern day versions of those maps would be awesome.
