So I like to fool around in Halo single player a lot back in *shoot idk how many year's it's been* i'v done some crazy mods just to have a good laugh. Since it's been some years iv forgotten how to make plasma grenades stop exploding i'v used to just shoot them out and watch them bounce off the walls tell it sticks someone.

Anyone know how to do this again? On Halo Map Tools.

Any I guess some other thing's too i'm willing to try like...mmmm

Is it possible to make the plasma rifle bolt bounce off things with HMT?

*edit*
Lol whops excuse the topic title failure.

Yeah. I did it in the past too, on the flood levels shorting 20 plasma grenades with my shotgun *nostalgia*

To make them fly without exploding, open the map with halo map tools, then go to "proj" (projectile) find the plasma grenade, then select it, in the options will appear some numbers, change all of them to "0" , and done you will have bouncing grenades forever

Whhhhhaat? People here know about Eschaton? That's good I thought I was the only person left who still used it.

Also thanks i'll go try this.

As for the plasma grenades changing them to 0 didn' work they still expload...not sure if it's cause I made the speed 1000. I'm still trying to remember how i'v done this I know I use to have the speed set to something in order for them to bounce off the walls at super speed.

Edit*
You name, are you Sparky122?

guardian wasn't made by me, I simply released it because I doubted Mootjuh was ever gonna finish it, it had been gathering dust for 2 years by the time I released it.

All I did was take the blank BSP, make a new scenario, re-textured the BSP and populated the BSP with all the spawns, grav-cannons, weapons, machines, AI, scenery, sound scenery and the rest of that stuff.

If ya want someone to fix it then the BSP is the issue. either ask Mootjuh or PM me for the 3DS max file, cause I'm busy working on backwash.

personally backwash is my favorite. If you want a fully working Guardian map then do what I said above^ because I really can't help you much. there are 62 coincident triangles and 2 coplanar surfaces wrong with the BSP. if you want to fix them go ahead, the furthest I got was fixing just one of the co plainer surfaces, and that still took hours.

Wait are you serious? On a scale of one to ten I would rate the severity of those errors at around 1.3/10.

yes, but they stop the BSP from compiling, and I don't even know how to fix a coincident triangle.

I would if I could, but sadly I am just too busy with various things to do that at the moment, if your so desperate then why not do it your self. The fact is that I'm in the middle of working on various assignments at university, I also have a programing project I'm right in the middle of and I'm trying to port backwash all at the same time, so I'm rather busy right now. If the errors are so easy to solve then surly YOU of all people can fix them. I can even PM you the 3DS max file if you want. But I on the other hand firstly, don't mind the version of Guardian I have released, albeit flawed as it is. and secondly, actually really like backwash so I'd rather just work on that.

Well you can pm it if you want. But even if I fix it I won't release since mootjuh wasn't happy with it anyway.
