Is it technically possible to create an infinite firefight map, where the waves and or rounds never end?

Yes. You can make a continuous script that calls upon a static void.

Any examples possible? I would appreciate you even considering it.

I heard (I've never gotten that far myself) that Firefight Descent's last wave loops itself over and over once you reach and survive it...?

Alrighty, I'll take a look at firefight descents scripts, see what I can find.

(global boolean waves 0)

(script static void the_ocean
(set waves 0)
(ai_place wave1)
;living count = 0
(ai_place wave2)
;living count = 0
(set waves 1)
)

(script continuous waves_of_the_ocean
(if (= waves 1)(the_ocean))
(sleep 15)
)

There are tons of different ways to go about doing this but here is just one example

Did you watch the video tutorial I linked you to in the last thread?

If you can get through that and use the stuff I provided you, you should be able to figure this out for yourself. That's a big reason why I made the video.
