Alright, so in light of my recent decision to start a massive tag collection, I have noticed something, I need to organize them better. I know how, and what to do, however I need to find a way to store credits, as in keep track of who made what, which will be pretty difficult to do, but it is a must have. It's rude to just write "credit goes to whoever made this"
I'm thinking of a massive text file but its not going to be easy, anyone have any ideas?

Originally, when porting tags, I decided to create a folder under my name. But I thought later that it was stupid to take credit from rips so I used the original rips folder path for raw rips as model and bitmaps and just still used my folder for more complex stuff like animations and... Effects or other stuff. But usually for people who work well you always somehow recognize their style in the way things are done.
Edit : and sometimes there are jokes in filenames, it would be sad if someone gets rid of it.
Oh and also I don't think it's a good idea to rip and re-release, aas people will still rip and create duplicates, and may miss most recent version of the tags they use Edited by bourrin33 on May 3, 2015 at 07:28 PM

Hah, I wasn't planning on releasing it for the longest time, I'd say whenever I have enough space to download 100 tb plus more. Working on acquiring that much storage.
I'm sure just the credits file will reach over 350mb.
and about the missing of latest versions, this "collection" will have all versions. I just want to index and or collect tags so that in case something happens, we will still have it all and all the memories and work will not be lost, and will be recorded forever.
Also for my own enjoyment, I plan to make a campaign for my own use, I don't think many other people are interested in singleplayer maps.
What does everyone else think of my idea? I would like some feedback.
IF I were to ever release this, I would say it wouldn't be anywhere near until 2020 or even further. Edited by S12Spark on May 3, 2015 at 07:42 PM
