Even after multiple re-installs of the game and also installing the newest patch, I can't get my Halo CE to load. It continually freezes on the "Halo" splash screen. Any idea on how I can fix this?

How do I do that? I deleted the hac folder and OpenSauce folder and it still won't run.

What Zetren said and: HAC and Open Sauce "folders"? I don't get that.

HAC is the "loader.dll" file, located in "controls" folder and OS is dinput8.dll (removing this disables OS). If you're running both then that may be the issue. You can only have one or if you're lucky, you can try using this: http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=47838

Don't listen to Halonimator, deleting HAC 2 is not a good idea.

Look in your graphics card control panel and make sure antialiasing isn't being forced on Halo CE

Gave this a shot and turned antialiasing off altogether. This resulted in the splash screen being displayed for a few seconds, followed by a closing of the game with no error message. I set antialiasing back to application-controlled after that. I don't have HAC or OpenSauce in my controls folder. I just tried starting the game with the dll above and that resulted in freezing as well.

Make sure you have v1.10 installed

Halo PC has a bunch of exes in one of its directory folders, run them

Everything is up to date. I just had to force my graphics card to recognize Halo CE. Now I go from the splash screen to an exception error.
