Got around to actually playing it (Halo online), default controls were weird af, and there was also mouse accel default :S, still had issues with mouse input even when I turned the shiz off. Otherwise it was really fun, did some alpha zombie games and team slayer.

Also halo has had some decent res textures, Reach and halo 4 have 2k res textures. I am not sure why all hype 4/8k resolutions? I want more polygone & high res texture than a higher resolutions. For 4/8k resolutions you need 4/8k texture. Halo 4 has no render to alpha like Halo 1 to 3 and Reach had.

What are you even trying to say. Textures only affect Halo 1 MP tagspace? What? No effect on SP tagspace? What? No effect on other factors? What?
Texture resolution will of course have an effect on the amount of memory that texture takes up in the GPU, and thus effect performance and/or how much of your GPU memory budget you can use. This obviously applies to any game.
