How exactly can I get real-time infection to work on the current version of Open Sauce? I can't find anything in the new OS guerrilla that gives me this option, or in any current OS tool for that matter.

I'd greatly appreciate it if somebody could help out.

You could try to get it working via script. Though I only have a basic idea.

Wait until a certain unit is killed (you can't check who killed it).
Create a dumb flood biped that can run an animation.
Object_attach the flood version of the unit to itself.
Object_detach the old unit.
Teleport and/or destroy the old unit.
Animate the flood guy to go rawwwrrrgh.
AI_attach an AI to the biped when it's animation is done.
???
Profit.

That guide is for a previous version of OS, which functions differently from the current one. :/

It's in here:

I'm gunna leave it to you to decide where your answer lies, as this is the main form of documentation (at least this is the one I've found) for all of the new toys for OS.

Unfortunate, it didn't work in the slightest. :(

Did anyone else have any luck with this?
