Your problem is almost certainly not in the .scenario tag, but rather in the tag that is causing this:

This is generally the result of one of the HEK+ version floating out there corrupting an extracted tag. In my experience, this tends to happen most often in model_animations tags, specifically in the "Objects" (object-function) section at the very top. Clearing out that section in the tag that got corrupted is usually enough to get the scenario loading again.

I also know that the Scorpion and Monitor animation tags have historically been affected by this issue; if either of those are in your map you might start your search there. Otherwise, make a backup of your scenario and remove object instance + palette entries in Guerilla until you find the offending tag and the map loads again. Then just fix the issue in that tag.

Flanker said it was a scenery file. He had a link up, but dennis removed the forum.

Open up the scenario file, locate the "scenario pallet" group.

(This group is used exclusively in sapien to select the scenery tags you which to populate the map with)

Just above that group should be the "Scenario" group > Hit delete all > save the scenario file and open in sapien.

(And this is the group which contains the location and rotation values for each scenery tag placed within your map)

Hope you can get this The Pit tags to be perfect, Its a shame that the one that is played online is very uncomplete. But Iv seen this one and its very impressive, but just the tags need to be fixed...

Yeah, I was really unimpressed with the other re-makes, I think I'll use the Foundry Tagset. It has all the weapons cept for the sword.

Flanker, I was looking in the Scnario file and couldn't seem to see the Scenario Palette.

Did you mean SCENERY palette?

I ended up placing the scenery around the map, and Sapien exception as soon as the grav lift went in.

I abandoned the project tho..

Well I think he started that years ago... but that doesn't mean you should stop working on your version. It's not really a competition. Even if it were, he's a more experienced individual so it's not far fetched to say yours is inferior.

TBH I'm leaning towards optic's thinking however there is no telling how long jesse's pit project will take.

But I will leave this for anyone. I can fix the broken portals in the map.
