Windows 7 was so much simpler...

I relatively recently began using Halo ce with the intention of creating my own mini campaign. Since then I have discovered that my skills are seriously inept for what I am trying to undertake. I have some basic modeling skills in Gmax and 3ds, but they are very limited. Though I plan to continue my own learning I am looking for people with more know-how who are interested in bringing this project to life.

The campaign is set on the first Halo ring and follows a group of ODSTs and ODST special division troopers (I'll call them black-ops for lack of a better name), who are sent out on a scouting mission much like Sargent Johnson to investigate a point of interest. The pelicans they are flying in are shot down by the covenant and they crash-land in a canyon (not bloodgulch). They make there way through the canyon, into a forerunner structure, through caves and all sorts, accidentally release an outbreak of flood, end up fighting alongside covenant forces, and eventually all die in an explosion rigged to kill off the infection.

There will be a strong focus on dialog and characters, and the entire thing will be dedicated to our fallen soldiers and the families they left behind.

I have a bunch of nice drawings and plans for the levels as well as some Sketch-up models I made prior to learning that using Sketch-up files is problematic.

If anyone is interested or would like to know more please email me. u3098704@uni.canberra.edu.au

Sorry, I actually meant to update this, but hadn't gotten around to it. After a recent computer crash (though not because of this) I decided I wasn't willing to keep giving the amount of time I was to trying to make maps. I'm happy to send anyone the material I've produced including the story and idea and sketches for the map, but there's not a lot of models or anything particularly useful. I would also love to still have my hand in it with work such as dialog scripting, or concept sketches of maps (I am an architecture student so they are of descent quality). However, I am no longer up for running or even significantly contributing to the tech side of this. Up to you if you want to use the little I have.
