I got the files of this. Its just Halo PC except with bad shaders on a few weapons.
The only interesting tidbit is the fact that under settings was a "model quality" but it didn't work.

Yeah, he's an idiot for buying something that has been floating around the internet for quite some time if you know where to look. Getting the files is not the same as having a physical copy of a rare item that was only produced in limited quantities and was not intended to be made available to the public. Having the original media > downloading a copy.

Edited by Echo77 on Jan 8, 2015 at 02:11 AM Let me let you in on a little secret, physical copies of games don't mean anything now. Only people who hold on to physical copies are hoarders. I still don't understand why Microsoft wouldn't release a digital version of it. It makes business sense if you think about it. "don't mean anything now". No, but they will in a decade or two when they're rare items. They're worth keeping just to see how much collectors will pay for them in the future. Especially since CDs/DVDs have already started their slow decline into hipster territory. They'll be a rarity in a few decades.

Your falling into the classic trap of:
"If it's rare i'll wait ten years down the line and it will be worth a fortune"
Unfortunately that really doesn't ring true, unless you find that 1 halo rich kid fan in a million.
But maybe perhaps I'm wrong.

There are several underground communities and trading scenes you have probably never heard of. I imagine having something of value for them is part of the reason gamecheat purchased it.

It is really novel with different menu options (all not working), a different splash screen, and it has the AR scratched shades (contrary to popular belief that Gearbox "forgot" to port them) but most things are broken as hell. If you want to get a copy just PM some of the big names around here. Don't PM me because I no longer have the files (dis thread is old)

I'd get it, but I live in New Zealand, so getting stuff off Ebay is more hassle than its worth, its also more expensive as currently the transfer rate is NZD 66 cents to $1 USD.
