Actually this website is quite legitimate Dennis and disappeared a few years ago. The authors of it are the ones who created Arsenic, the Halo PC-Xbox conversion kit that I've been working with lately and writing my own programs to supplement.

I'm pretty much content with .org

Basically, HaloMaps.com is the equivalent of HaloMaps.org but with its main focus on Xbox content. Halo CE > XBOX, Halo 2, and LAN gaming over XBConnect or Kai. Check out the site, you can kinda see what I mean.

Do you have any relationship to blueshogun ?

That post was from 2008 over 6 years ago. It has nothing to do with Halomaps.com and the issue was resolved long before most of you ever knew this forum existed.

Again people are trying to muddy the waters in more way than one.

Not in the least. Far from it. I am sweet without being saccharine, young at heart but not childish. I also have a perspective that can not be attained without experiencing the passing of time so don't involve myself in the little dramas that play out in the forum. I have nothing to prove.

I knew exactly what to expect when I opened these sites and have been moderating discussions since before most of you were conceived. Bitterness stems from disillusionment and while at times I may, in my role of moderator, express disappointed with the actions of an individual the fact that these sites are still popular and new people are joining and playing the game 10 years later exceeds my expectation.

I may be terse at times and seem like I have no sense of humor, I don't really except when I do, but I am never bitter even though I do like lemon drops and key lime pie.

Most of my interaction in the forum tends to be as the moderator where I am either shutting down a thread, calling out someone for behavior or reminding people to stay on topic. That type of posting tends to be confrontational by nature. And then there is the whole "buck the man" syndrome that can creep into the messages of those who feel they have something to prove.
I don't. Not at all. And at the risk of repeating myself, this particular sidetrack is a result of people trying and succeeding in "muddying the waters" as it were.
