Masterz1337 released a modified bitmaps.map the allows custom bitmaps, you should find it on the website. In case it doesn't work, there's an easier method: just save your bitmaps with a different name/path, and change the references in the shader tag. Your problem occurs usually because there's a conflict between the stock and new bitmaps, so you can treat your texture as a new one and "bypass" the issue
