does anyone know where I can get hold of the halo 2 single player maps for Xbox, all the sites that you used to be able to get them off are down and I would rather like to get hold of some of them for there BSPs.

Also, does anyone know if there is a tool for ripping halo 2 BSP's from the PC version, cause I've got all the maps I need for that but, there only seems to be tools available for ripping BSP's from halo 2 Xbox maps.

funnily enough, yes, the maps are indeed on there, but as you said no, that is not a legit way of getting it, thankfully I have now came up with another way of acquiring the maps.

there just happens to be a copy of halo 2 for xbox for sale at a local video store... or at least there was, now to find a way of extracting the files...

my no was for the tool that can extra vista bsps. As far as I know you need the xbox files to get the bsp.

your right, I did, and now I've already exported the final bsp for the boss fight at the end of halo 2 to Gmax and am compiling it as a type, Que lots of tool errors...

still, its a lot simpler than the halo 3 maps I've been working on, its not going to require much simplification, who knows maybe you might find the map uploaded sometime in the next month...

I'm not promising anything fancy, but it should work...

Also Assembly can open Halo 2 Vista maps.

Assembly can, but entity is better.
