One of the most annoying things is organizing tags. Especially downloaded ones, whose authors always like placing them in random folders with their names. This app lets you rename all the tags in a compiled map to be under the directory you list.
EDIT: Some stock bitmaps and sounds that are not internal in the map (meaning the bitmap is in bitmaps.map or sounds.map) may need to be manually re-assigned afterwards as these don't extract properThis rewrites EVERY tag in the map,
and also completely break the map for gameplay purposes. Tag Extraction is unaffected in normal situations. The huge benefit with this over simply manually moving the files, is that the references stay intact, you don't have to manually update the location of each tag with Guerilla.
So, if you type Hamp!
The tag weapons/assault rifle/assault rifle
becomes Hamp!/weapons/assault rifle/assault rifle/
Now when you extract the tags with HEK+, the weapon tag will be in the folders Hamp!>weapons>assault rifle>
You can also set multiple directories, by using the / character. At least on PCs, none of this is tested on the mac version, nor is a real purpose for the program evident.
For example, Hamp!/project_stuff as the directory name becomes Hamp!>project_stuff>
Just figured someone may find this useful. Rewrote Eternal Lightning to make it, this wouldn't be any help in deciphering tags however.
