http://imgur.com/gallery/DcTzK So autodesk just came out with this new app that let's people create 3D Models simply by taking various pictures of the object. I'm curious how this will effect the halo mapping community. I'd be pretty cool to see what people come up with. If someone here owns a gun collection it'd be very interesting to see that be imported into maps.

its been around for a while, it kinda sucks unless you have a super good camera im guessing, and you might still have the table if you were taking a picture of a toy or something on the 3D model... so its not that great. Edited by VKNG on Sep 24, 2014 at 07:23 PM

You used to have to place the object in a container or basin, fill the container with milk in even small portions and take a picture in between each portion added.
