Does anyone know how to properly calculate the Yaw and Pitch for the sun marker in the sky tag? I've messed with the sun location a little bit and need to adjust it for radiosity. I found a script and it gave me some values out of max... it worked once, changed the sun position, reran the script, saved the values, tried again, completely off. Is there a method to it?

Well I always host SBB's gamenights, I should be able to host but it will be interesting as there's a gamenight on saturday wich means I will have to host two of them. Something to consider: if you want more results/feedback/testing, ask Btcc to upload it to the HAC2 map server. Then, when you complete the map, ask him to take it down and replace it with the release version.
Unless you want to keep it private I suppose.
I just found this provided way better results than having one day/night of testing. It's what I did for the beta of my map and there are randoms that come in to my server all the time and point out little things that I missed.
Also: did you check for phantom BSPs? :D I could find some for you :D

Sorry! if there's another in the future you'll definitely be able to play. Today we got around i think 11 or 12 people max to play a single time, CTF. The map is awesome around this - players have quick access to points around the map and arsenal of weapons and vehicles to choose from at their base and around the map. The map is largely vehicular based, but a lot of on foot gameplay happens too. We also played Assault, and this gametype surprisingly was a ton of fun on this map. It was really, really cool. All other gametypes work nice too, although may need a bit of small adjustments here and there. I appreciate everyone who did come and play and wouldn't have been the same without them. Valuable things learned, map needs a few more fixes here and there but shes getting close!

I haven't had this much fun since Hcel, or the old game nights back in 05-06. That said, to me the map is near perfection. And you already know most if not all things regarding the weapon placement(such as nades in bases) The tank, spawn points and perhaps more healthpacks.
A couple of small things i noticed though was that a tree clip (Can't remember the name of it) is going through the roof of one of the bases near the right side. Also one vert on the trims in one of the bases can be moved to make the angle look more planar. The ground at some places are kinda bumpy, but that just added to the fun yesterday. Those are not even issues, But mentioning it just in case.
What I love about the map is how classic it feels, yet it's a very modern iteration of the geomar (back in zeh days when it never got released) There are alot of sniper rifles, which I think is important for there to be an healthy amount of confrontation in team based game types. Assault was surprisingly fun, and arguably the most fun I had in ages on any map. Even with the tank it was great and very, very challenging. Of course the map was great on all the other game types, but Assault really stood out for me.

So I've finally fixed the bug getting final lightmaps to run. I can now run HQ lightmaps on the BSP, so that's what I've been doing, and I've gotten good results so far. I've added in DOC (grass) to the entire map too, making it very pretty. A slew of sound scenery and other little things similar have been added in that were ported from Halo 2 for Lumoria. Tank has been nerfed for a longer reloading time and also slower speed to crack down on its usage and help prevent spawn killing + such. Shadow's turret has a decreased max rate of fire now (from 15 -> 10). I created some new beam emitter device tags. I've always wanted to put them in the map but the originals from Infinity clipped through the base. So I made some custom ones that don't. Yay. And many other smaller things have been done since the last beta, such as adding rocks in certain locations as cover (especially around red base), more spawn points, some fixed netgame flags + teleporter rotations, removed all Phantom BSP, and more. I'm planning on doing another beta this weekend probably. Again, if you're interested in play testing, add me on xFire (higuy5).
