There isn't anyone in this forum that has the right to call someone newbie or refer to "Halomaps" tradition in a derogatory manner. I have tee-shirts that are older than all of you and they are a whole lot cooler than any of you.

As for a "tradition" of acting poorly and ruing threads that is just unmitigated bull crap! In the over 10 years this forum has been open the majority of posts have been productive, helpful, cordial and sometimes funny. There is no tradition of insults and childish behaviour because of the forum. It is just that people notice the bad behaviour more.

If you want to carry on the actual tradition then don't be an ass and just comport yourself properly keeping to the topic of the thread, which is a request for help, and also read the sticky that says " You WILL NOT abuse people who make requests" because it will put you on the path to social productivity.
