A Short Introduction

Welcome to the official Team VKMT thread. Here you will find updates on all of the team's latest projects and their progress. We will also make any and all announcements on this thread. VKMT was made to create high quality ports from other games for map makers, create fun single player levels, and to experiment with interesting new endeavors for the Halo Custom Edition game. Now let's get to our currently announced projects. we will be opening dreamsinacryotank.net soon.

Yeah, i just wanna quickly post that most of what we submitted for ce3 is a little old and not great. So we will post updated footage of all our stuff after the stream. I will admit i rushed the ce3 trailer a bit, sorry if its a little dissapointing at the stream guys. We also did the ce3 interview, where i honestly dont sound great at all (the fact i still sound like a little kid and i was nervous.) So, i would look forward to what we put up after the stream. And not the actual stream itself. Just wanted to be a little honest guys. Sorry.

The current animations we have now need some work. Which is why we are looking for more animators. Thats something we are definitely trying to go for.

Interesting ! I hope all old bad people were fired. I can help in Fp animations, rigging, shadering, models (bsp), texturing, and some others things. You already have my skype.

Because that's a completely realistic expectation...

Amirite.

Dunno if you've seen any of the animators' work but they are not quite ODX-level.
Some of them happen to be getting closer to that, though.

Try to build a good Bsp, to show content. And learn how to take good screen, you show nothing with theses.

Exemple (sorry Tutorial bsp, that's suck ya)

can change the physics? I mean when you shot to a grunt in HR or H4 this not feels like HCE but in a map (b30) i don't remember who's the guy who made it it feels the same.

Do you mean damage tables, fire rate, and etc. If you are referring to that then yes, but things like ragdoll physics are a no.

Its a thing we might implement, but right now we are focusing on making sure the balancing and gameplay of everything is as perfect as it can be.
